| Horseshoe Cove Marine was established on Pittwater since 1986. Since that time our team has built up an enviable reputation for quality and pride of workmanship. We have worked on some of Sydney 's top boats and have a large client base from all over Australia. Our team of qualified tradespeople can carry out work from the simplest repair to a complete refurbishment. We work for all the major insurance companies and are glad to give obligation free quotes. We welcome visitors to inspect our facilities. We offer a complete marine service with mechanics, marine electricians and cover makers on site. We also have subcontractors to carry out all allied trades. The company was started by Lee Bradstreet and Gordon Woolcott in 1986 and has grown to employ 16 people. We took over the running of the RMYC slipway in 2000 and now offer a complete marine service. In July 2002 Gordon left the company and Lee Bradstreet is the sole proprietor. In September 2007 we moved to Sirsi Marina and took on Corey Hill as a partner. Corey will be running the slipway operations We will be upgrading the slipway and workshop over the next few years. We strongly support training of new apprentices and see this as a way of continuing the quality of trades people who are available to the industry. Our apprentices have excelled at TAFE and have consistently won awards for practical as well as theory. We are members of the Boating Industry Association and the Shipwrights and Boatbuilders Association. Our new Sublift, a revolutionary boat handeling system that can safely lift and position your boat on the hard stand or into the undercover workshop. It can even lift directly off a trailer or low loader. |
