Located between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast in Northern NSW, Midginbil Hill is only 5 mins easy drive to the boat ramp at the legendary Clarrie Hall Dam (paddle power and electric motors only permitted), which is stocked every year with over 10,000 bass fingerlings. We also have two dams on the property well stocked with silver and golden perch. These are just a short walk from the campground. Catch your own live bait in our creek or dig for some worms. And you can hire rods for the entire family. Cook your catch* under the stars in front of an open fire as you camp in our gorgeous rainforest campground. (With piping hot showers and septic toilets your stay will be a most comfortable one.) Tweed River casting Or if you prefer, as indeed we do, grab your esky and find a shady pool along the spectacular Tweed River and lure these great fighting fish from the snags and logs. Ask Tony for a map of our best fishing spots. If you can't catch* yourself dinner in five minutes, you are just not trying! There is also fantastic estuary and beach fishing close by where you might be the only one on the entire beach. Would you like to make a reservation or booking now? *Fishing licences are required in NSW and can be purchased from our office. |
